Cookie Policy

1. Definitions and Usage
In practical and non-specialized terms, a cookie is similar to a small file, stored on your computer by websites during browsing, useful for saving preferences and improving the performance of websites. This optimizes the user's browsing experience.
It is precisely because of cookies that a site remembers the user's actions and preferences (such as, for example, the language chosen, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user returns to said site or navigates from one page to another of it. Cookies, therefore, are used to perform session tracking and storage of information regarding the activities of users viewing a site and may also contain a unique identifier code that allows tracking of the user's navigation within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes. In the course of browsing a site, users may also receive cookies on their computer from sites or web servers other than the one they are visiting (so-called "third-party" cookies). Some operations could not be accomplished without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the site to function itself.
Although cookies allow the site to identify the user's device through the information stored in it, each time the user reconnects with the same device, it should be considered that cookies do not collect information directly identifying the user. In fact, Korilù srl cannot, through cookies, trace any personal information (e.g. name and surname), unless provided directly by the user. Moreover, another website cannot use a cookie issued by this site to access other information contained in the user's device: once saved, the cookie can only be read by the website that created it.

2. Characteristics of Cookies
There are various types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions.
Under current Italian law, the use of cookies does not always require the user's express consent. In particular, "technical cookies", i.e. those used for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, do not require such consent. These are, in other words, cookies that are indispensable for the operation of the site or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.
Among technical cookies, which do not require express consent for their use, the Italian Data Protection Authority (see Provvedimento Individuazione delle modalità semplificate per l'informativa e l'acquisizione del consenso per l'uso dei cookie of May 8, 2014 and subsequent clarifications) also includes:
- navigation or session cookies
- the "analytics cookies" where used directly by the operator of the site to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself
- functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

3. Types of Cookies Used
Korilù srl uses the following types of cookies:
- Navigation or Session cookies:
These technical cookies are strictly necessary to allow normal navigation and use of the website. This type of cookie can then be distinguished according to their persistence on the user's terminal: those that are automatically deleted at the end of each navigation are called "session cookies". Conversely, if they have a longer life, they are called "persistent cookies". Disabling the aforementioned technical browsing and session cookies may compromise the management of your own browsing session, making activities on the site, more complicated and less secure.
- Analytics cookies:
These technical cookies are strictly necessary to enable the collection of information, in aggregate form, about the number of users and how they visit the site itself. Analytics cookies are assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the operator of the site to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself: the user's prior consent is not required for the installation of these cookies. This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. to generate statistics about the use of the web portal (see Section 3.1. Google Analytics for more information)
These cookies are installed directly by Korilù srl and, since they are not used for purposes other than the functional ones described above, their installation does not require the user's consent but if you wish to proceed to disable them you can do so through your browser settings as indicated in point below 4. How to disable all cookies.

3.1. Google Analytics
The site also includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Again, these are third-party cookies collected and maintained anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to anonymously collect and analyze information about website usage behavior (including the user's IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of compiling reports for operators regarding activity on the website itself. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) Google's analytics tool to track or collect personally identifiable information. Google does not associate IP address with any other data held by Google or attempt to link an IP address with a user's identity. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process this information on Google's behalf.

You can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on your browser. To disable the action of Google Analytics, please refer to the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

3.2. Social Plug-ins
These "social buttons" are visible on our website to allow you to share content through social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Cookies are deposited by these platforms on our site to allow them to collect information about your browsing.
